StockBill

How it works

From payment to settlement, without the guesswork.

The customer pays. StockBill records the collection. After verification, settlement batches move, and the merchant pays out from the same workspace.

Step 01

Create your account, then verify the business

Registration asks for business name, email, and password. After sign-in, verification is a three-step wizard: business information, director information, and document upload.

  • Business information

Business name, CAC registration number, and business address.

  • Directors and documents

Director name, email, and ID, then CAC certificate and proof of address.

  • Enterprise accounts

The overview compliance card also calls for CAC RC number, registered address, Certificate of Incorporation, and MEMART under CBN KYC requirements.

Step 02

Turn on the collection channels you will use

Nothing here is a separate product install. From the dashboard you generate a virtual account, create a payment link, and accept bank transfer and card into the same merchant balance.

Step 03

Share a link or an account number with the customer

A payment link is a URL with a fixed or flexible NGN amount. A virtual account is a dedicated number against a customer reference. Both show up as collections with a transaction reference.

Step 04

Track collections, statuses, and balances together

Overview shows merchant balance, pending settlement, today's collections, and a seven-day chart. Transactions is where you search, filter success / pending / failed, and open a receipt.

₦ 2,847,500

Pending settlement

₦ 412,000

Today's collections

Step 05

Get settled after verification is approved

KYC unlocks settlements and higher collection limits. Pending settlement on the overview becomes settlement batches in Reports — completed, pending, or processing — with a CSV you can download.

Step 06

Pay out to a bank account when you need the funds out

Initiate a single transfer, upload a bulk file, or pick a beneficiary. History records success or failed against a transfer reference.

FAQ

Questions the product actually answers

These match the merchant dashboard — not a generic payments FAQ.

What do I submit for verification?

The KYC wizard collects business name, CAC registration number, business address, director details, CAC certificate, and proof of address. Enterprise compliance copy on the overview also lists CAC RC number, registered address, Certificate of Incorporation, and MEMART.

When can I run payouts and settlements?

The sidebar and settings compliance card both say KYC unlocks payouts, settlements, and higher collection limits. Until then, pending settlement stays visible on the overview.

Which currencies can a virtual account use?

When you create a virtual account you choose NGN, USD, GBP, or EUR. Payment links are created in NGN.

How do bulk payouts work?

Upload a CSV with account number, bank, amount, debit currency amount, and description, then confirm the transfer from Payouts.

Where do API keys live?

API & webhooks in the sidebar, and Settings → Developers for named Live/Test keys, webhook endpoints, and request logs. IP whitelisting is under Settings → Preferences.
